ok to start with for explaining thing you maybe not on the right adres
but i wil try.
those mercury vapour light r heavy lights.
you need a very big cage to use them r you need to buy a 100 watt flood r i also saw the sell even 60 watt types.
they need have a minium distance of 20 inches my type flood i use so i can use it in a 4x2x2 cage.
if the light is closer to the animal he wil burn.
those fluerecent light r weaker thats why he can climb in the light if he want to.
hope you know enough r ask what you wanan know more !
btw those light give much uvb and i see my animals like them am testing out now 2 type of mercury vapour .
