A few weeks ago I slit my 21 bearded dragon eggs from the first clutch of the year(some idiot told me to). On July 4th one hatched, and then two more hatched in the following 4 days. So now I have 3 babies. Unfortunately all of the others died and sadly one of the ones that croaked, died in the process of hatching. I have been giving them pinheads every day(well really a few times a day) and have also been handfeeding them mashed juviniele repcal BD pellets(also they get greens which they wont touch and sprayed with water a few times a day). Is this ok to be doing? I place some mashed up pellet on the outside of their mouthes and they lap it up. They each usually will eat around 1/10 of a CC of the mashed pellets a day. Will giving them this food be beneficial or hurt them in the long run? I am only gonna continue feeding them this way for about 2 more weeks and then start feeding them only crickets and greens. I just want the little guys to live; I only have these three(of course there are about 50 more on their way...) so they all mean a lot to me. Just a few more questions...
1)Where do you all sell your BDs to?
2)Is 3 clutches a pretty average amount for a first year breeder to lay, or should I be expecting more?
Thanks for the help!
