How many cages can you put on one Helix?

Melisssss Sep 11, 2005 09:22 PM

I have wondered this for some time now. I currently have 3 Vision #221 using UTH on one Helix. I would imagine if I switched to Flexwatt, I could heat more cages on one Helix. How many would max out a Helix? Of course we would be talking identical cages in size and decor, for lack of a better word and all running the same temps and cycles.

What would be the best approach to 18 identical #221? Yes, I have a plan in mind but no idea how to go about it just yet.

A 1000 will handle 25 one foot panels of 11" flexwatt which is rated at 20 watts per foot. I would only run one maybe 2 stacks as there will be temp flux between the stacks..
