Question for breeders of Elaphe t. ridleyi

WmTaylor Sep 11, 2005 10:42 PM

I am trying to decide if my female rideyi is ready to breed. She is about 4.5 ft. but I just am not 'comfortable' introducing a male yet... Any breeders of ridleyi want to take say at what size they think rideyi needs to be to be mature enought to breed?

Ok, I took a loose measurement of her and she is over 58 inchs! I can believe that noone has an opinion on this....

That seems like plenty of size to me, but I've not bred mine as they are only a year old and around 3 feet. Trying to measure them would be like trying to measure hmmm SATAN. (Sadly, I'm one of the unfortunates with ridleyi that are evil incarnate.)
