Any one know of any good sites that are free? Even if they are not free anyone know of any good ones period?

Any of the free ones almost always place banners on your pages (most you have no control over what banners that they place). I have tried many different hosting companies over the years for sites that I have developed. A lot of the smaller companies do not have their own servers and actually outsource hosting to larger hosting companies.

I have had both good and bad experiences with those. They provide better monitoring but customer service gets split between the two companies and it leaves room for the "not my problem" blame game.

Let me know what you are looking to host, large/small site, a lot/limited updates, pictures/video, are you going to be doing the updates or are you having someone build and maintain it for you?, and I can give you a couple of them I have used.
