But they look a lot like the collareds I've seen in central Missouri and also a lot like the females I've seen in Kansas. It's really hard to say though.

That male in the next picture has some great coloring. Nice lizard!

Hi John,

Do you have a picture of the males from there ??
I'm wondering how they look.

p.s the other photo was from a baileyi female.

YOu will find Chris's link very helpful. He has pictures from several states at the bottom of this page.

The males I seen in Missouri had little to no color on the head...mostly grey/whitish with nice orange dewlaps. The had some yellow striping on the body, but not too much. The females were a strange brown/marron coloration.

The males in Kansas were interesting...some were very lime green with quite a bit of yellow on the body that extended around to their stomachs.

I like her, Peter, will let ya now for sure real soon as I'm getting a pair from that locale.

The males kinda look look the aquaflames except they are a emerald greenish with an orangey dewlap/ throat. I found them to be quite handsome, and asked a friend to help me obtain a pair

Have to see

Your male yellowhead is stunning

would be the question I would ask myself. Are they from a importer that imports a whole bunch of collareds at one time? If so they are probably from Texas where they are mass collected. If so it will be almost impossible to get locality data and anything would be just a guess. To me it looks like a ugly Texas collared. Tom Greb
