rainbowsrus Sep 12, 2005 04:11 PM

Now that they've shed, I thought I'd post some baby pics, enjoy:

3 of Petunia's babies

1 of Bullseyes babies

6 of Clovers (she had 28 this year)

and 6 of Savannah's babies
(first two pics are the same baby, the one with no crescents)

I have to admit, I did pick out some of the nicer ones to show off. Pretty easy to do when you have 110 babies to pick from...I love being the breeder.

Which one is mine?

Some extremely nice ones in those bunches. I wish mine would hurry up and shed.

Dave,
...Those are some great looking babies. There is nothing better than just going through a bunch of babies and looking at all the variations in the patterns and colors. The one with no crescents looks like it has lighter colored areas inside some of the dark side spots. As it gets bigger these may turn into good reverse bullseyes and be very interesting looking.

You're absolutely right about the reverse coloring on the no crescent baby. I've long since decided to keep her for myself. One of the BEST percs of breeding, getting to always get the pic of not only the litter but the entire seasons litters. How many people get the opportunity to select theirs from over a hundred babies that have not been picked over by anybody else?
