I decided to start a new thread for this instead getting off-topic in another.

Does anyone know the history of her? She looks HELLA cool...just wonderin about her.

Who owns her? Or if shes dead, owned? When was she imported?

Heres a pic of her

Ive seen the male in person and I have to say it is freakin awsome ... They (Both Renaissance and Ian) and working on proving them out ... I hope to get a piece of the paragon pie soon !!!

did not happen that way ... get your facts in order ....

You gave a link to Renaissance Reptiles web site. The picture that you told everyone to look at is kinda small. When you click on it nothing comes up. Do this. Go to the website. You will see her (paragon) in the upper left corner of the screen. Click on her and it will give you some close up shots !

Thanks man, I really appreciate it (I don't think i'm the only one.)

I was originally looking for the a pic of the spider-mojave and came across that. Didn't even notice the pic up there.

Personally, I hope it turns out simple recessive. I just don't think they should be reproduced like the pastel, and spider have been. I think it should be one of those "Rare, hard to get your hands on" kinda snake, not one that can be produced with 1 Paragon and 10 normal females. Know what I mean?

Just my honest opinion.

Thanks again!

I think is it is welcome idea that large numbers of these codominant and dominant morphs can be produced. It gets the price down to that of the normal consumer and lets everyone enjoy a beautifully different animal. I don't need something to be rare to like how it looks. If super cinnamons or mohaves were 100 bucks a piece I would own 10 of each. Not because they will make me a millionare, but because I like the snakes for their subtle good looks. I personally am a teacher in southern Louisiana and I can't afford the multiple thousand dollar morphs, and never will be able to. When the prices come down so everyone can afford one the hobby will be much better off. In the mean time the arrogant few can gloat that they have the the rarest morph and only sell males so they can bump up the production and get rich. In the mean time those of us who love our animals for what they are and not for money making ventures will enjoy looking at your pictures at waiting for the day that we can pick one up for a reasonable price at our local reptile store.

I guess what I was trying to say is that if Paragons turned out to be co-dom, in a few years it wouldn't be nearly as appreciated. It'll just be one of those hot morphs that turned into a common ball. It's beauty would still be appreciated, but not it's value. I believe that if it turns out to be recessive, it will be more sought after for years to come and be one of those "gems" compared to pastels who are in MANY MANY collections. This is also my view on ALL co-doms. Everyone's gonna want one, whether it's co-dom or not, but just like any ball (IMHO) if it's recessive, sooner or later it will be fixed on a price. They're beautiful, but when the prices drop, some people might not be as interested and appreciative towards them when they're $500 each.

Whether it's recessive or not, I want one.

I didn't know about Ian's either..but I do know a male was recently imported and sold here in the US. I don't know if it was Ian that got him...but it was imported seperately from Renaissance's female. I know they have been trying to breed her....but you know how some WC animals can be. It is recessive...and I can't wait to get into it either! I think there was even one reproduced in Japan? (I can't be certain on that though)
Here are some pics of Renaissance's from Daytona last year...
