ok i dont haev a bp yet but im getting one on saturday.i haev the tank complete.its a 20 gallon long with a hide on the cold side(the gray thing)with a water bowl ontop of the hide.i have that cave looking thing with a flat top so it can bask.im useing a heat lamp for now and may switch over to a pad later on.im using paper towles on the bottom.doe that soiund ook?anything im missing?

Only thing I can think is getting a better thermometer. Wal-Mart has a dual side thermometer/hygrometer for under 13.00. It's an AccuRite I beleive. That way you can measure the hot/cold sides at the same time and it tells you the humidity. Plus they are ALOT more accurate then the analog ones.

You can format your posts and signature using BBCode. Here are some common examples:
