Little worried...please respond ASAP if possible

i just brought home my first crested gecko yesterday
she is 3 months old and larger then most others her age
she seems ok -- walks around at night, etc
but today i noticed that she slept with her head hanging down
she had her legs body and tail on a branch/leaf and her head was hanging downward
i took her out, and she is acting fine
i was just wondering if she is ok (is this normal and healthy) or if something is wrong
she seemes to be eating but i am not 100% sure -- i have not seen any poop yet (i have coconut flooring) but i am on the look out..lol
any answer to this would be very helpful
thanx ahed of time

Don't worry at all. That is a totally normal thing for crested geckos to do. I've seen mine sleeping hanging from only two feet. They are like little monkeys, and they always seem to get themselves in the weirdest positions. Good luck with your new little one, but be careful they are addicting!

thank you very much for your answers
they are very helpful, and now i am not worried about her
it just looked very awkward (especially since she is my first)
and yes i never thought that they can be addicting
but i love to watch her when she is walking around her terrerium
i could spend all night doing it
lol
thanx again

You will see your Gecko sleep in all sorts of impossible positions. Its typical and normal.

As for eating ...Its typical of any reptile to not eat for several days when they are placed into a new enviorment .When it does begin eating chances are youll miss seeing it eat more often than not. They much prefer to eat when the house is quiet and theres no movement around them.Crickets they cant resist most other foods they can.
