i just went in to chek out my temps in my bp cage(im getting the bp on saturday)and the cave that is under the lamp was over 100 degrees F. I think im getting a heat pad on thursday.how would i hook up a rehostat to controll the temps?any step-by-step instructions would help.thanx

Unless your room temperature never changes...Do yourself a favor.Skip the rheostat,and get a digital thermostat.That way the heat pad will be regulated completely,and you won't have to worry about room temp going up or down 5 degrees...

I say digital only because most of the better lines of thermostats are digital now.(Don't skimp on safety.)
