Feeding question

idiotshot Sep 13, 2005 12:38 AM

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried or had any luck feeding your cresties silkworms? My leos eat them no problem, but I was wondering if they moved enough to trigger the cresties. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I have fed my geckos silkworms, they love them! Just feed appropriate sized silkworms. For babies, one inch worms or smaller are good, older crested geckos can have larger silks. Adults should be able to handle large silkworms. Their soft bodies (the worms that is) make them easy to digest.

Cool, Thanks for the feedback. I'm just looking to add more variety to their diets, so I'll have to give them a go.

i tried them a few times and my cresties werent interested, they avoided them and seemed grossed out by them

its been a while since i've tried them and will probably try again but at the time they seemed offended that i would offer such squishy things
