Who reclassified the ctenos raising all subpecies to species level? Was it Kohler or Grismer? Thanks. Tom

Without double checking, I believe grismer reclassified or tried to reclassify the hemolopha complex. I truly believe that giving the subspecies full species status is absurd considering most were planted by native indians living in the gulf only around 10,000 years ago.

presentations on what makes a species a species you would probably think it even more absurd. Sometimes I wonder what these guys are thinking. Oh well I guess it doesn't much matter as they are still awesome creatures and I enjoy them no matter what they call them. Tom
