Brown house snake

caecilianman02 Sep 13, 2005 06:42 PM

Hi,

I will be attending a Reptile Show in a few days. I attended this show last year, and many different herps were available. I have recently decided that I would like a brown house snake. I was wondering, in the experience of the Lamprophis keepers on this forum, if there is a good chance of this species being available at a reptile show. I do not quite know how common they are. I once saw some at a local pet store, and was wondering if it is possible for several to be available at your average reptile show.

Yes- in a big show there will probably be a couple offered- our latest expo here I saw one I recall for sure, I think there were a couple of others...

Good luck, I haven't ever had one but they are supposed to be very easy and pleasant snakes...

Your collection is pretty big. Whats your favorite herp out of all of them?
