first and second pic....05 pastel female and citrus ghost male, they are future boy friend and girlfriend and don't even know it yet. It is sooo hard to get the lighting right on both of those. I'm going to try some outdoor photo's as soon as the day's cool off a little.

third pic.........citrus ghost by himself. he's coloring up very nicely

this is a very light colored male that I picked up locally from someone that has had him for at least 6 years. he's only around 900 gm as he was being fed 1 mouse once a month. that's only at most 72 feedings in his life, I have 04's that have ate more than that, lol. but anyway he looks very nice and has a killer head, very light. Maybe he's something, maybe not but he's in better hands now. BTW, he ate 2 med rats the day I brought him home. he had a look of "ahhhh finally a real meal" on his face, lol

Great Idea Josh ,
Dinking can work out sometimes , if you " dink it through to the end ". I am a HUGE fan of reduced patterns , I spoil my twins like crazy , best of luck.

first off, the female I picked up last yr and to this date has never had a good shed. no matter what i do with her, she has to have the head scales stuck to her, the only way I can get them off is to put her in a wet pillow case. I've put in a hide filled with wet moss and she will shed in the box and still retain the head scales, it's a fact that i've come to accept, she will never shed properly, lol.
second the male was picked up as a fresh ch import before his first shed. he was striking at everything in sight so i figured getting him to eat would be no problem, lol my mistake. 2 days after he shed i offered a fuzzy mouse and got no responce from him. I continued to offer food for a month with no results. It took 3 months of assist feeding every 2 weeks before he took his first meal solo. He now slams small adult mice as often as I offer.

I don't use cypress mulch, I think it's too messy .But I had an animal with similar shed issues , and I put this animal on mulch for a few months , and it started to shed normally . when she goes blue , raise the humidity for her until she sheds , it may just do the trick .Good luck Josh , and nice clean reduced animals.here's another of my favorite Twin(they were from the same egg) .

that's a very nice reduced. I've raised humidity up to high 80% range and still didn't work. It's kinda funny because she is the only animal i have that gives me chronic problems shedding and all others are kept the same as her, maybe she'll prove out as genetic head scale retainer, could cross her with a derma ball and get a normal, lol
