My female laid her first egg and it was nice n round at first but now it is dented like inflated looking does this mean its infertile and if so is it still possible to be fertile looking like this anyone have ne luck hatchin an egg that they thought was infertile?

Stick it in the incubator anyway.

If its fertile, once the little guy inside has been attached, if you move the egg from the position you found it in, you'll drown & kill the baby. Mark the top of the egg.

Using this criteria, candle the egg to look for the presence of an embryo. You can use a mini flashlight, etc, rather than a lighter. If its yellow, unveined, etc., its probably infertile. If in doubt, just stick it in the incubator like I said

Forgot to mention...it depends where the egg was when you found it and what humidity it was in. Proper humidity and temperature is essential. Too arid - shrivel & dry out the egg. Too moist - over-saturate and drown it.

cherri i have another question she laid another egg lasnite and it came out real long it was pretty big egg so i put it in and i looked at it today and its kinda gettin a little deflated looking is that normal?
