Over the weekend i purchased my first dart frog and was wondering what i should do for lighting. right now i just have a room light. is a uv needed? i know the supplement we dust with has d3 and you get that from natural sunlight.thanks in advance. Matt

You'll want to use a 15W full spectrum florescent... Life-Glo is what i get because the pet store always has them, but there are other options. More for the plants than the frog, but 12hrs a day and you want to keep the tank out of sunlight for heat concerns...What kind of frog did you get? goodluck with him
