I am looking a a snake that is colorful and docile. The snakes I and thinking about are a blood python, a brazilian rain bow boa, jungle carpet python. Which of thesewill turn out to make the best pet snake. Ive had ball pythons and rtb so I have experience.

...I have experience with all three of the snakes on your list. They are all great snakes but are more of a challenge than Ball Pythons. If you get a captive born baby of any of the three they can be raised to be tame and calm. All three are beautiful as adults. Blood Pythons are great to handle when little but are very heavy and not so easy or nice to hold in your hands like the other two as adults. An adult Blood Python can be very heavy bodied and not so flexible. They also seem uncomfortable being handled as adults. Jungle Carpet Pythons are extremely plain looking right out of the egg. They do not turn their best until they are at least a year old. As adults they make great pets. They are very active and make great display animals in large cages with plants to climb on. They are very active and like to keep moving when handled. Brazilian Rainbow Boas look very very nice as babies but do not get completely colorful until about a year old. They are very nocturnal and will be hiding inside something in their cages much of the daylight hours. They also have specific high humidity requirements and need to be kept at cooler temperatures than most other boids. Adults are the best of the three to handle as they will coil around your hands and sit still.
Good luck,
Jeff
