My eastern hognose picked a pinky rat over the fuzzy mouse.

I thawed out a pinky rat and a fuzzy mouse for her meal yesterday and when I went to put them in the dish, found that she was in a full blown shed. Her eyes were a solid milky white - couldn't see a thing. Just for the heck of it, I left them both in her food dish and picked her up and set her in front of them so that she would know food was there to see what she would do later. I knew she would run and hide right away but would get curious after I was gone. When I checked this morning she had eaten the rat but left the mouse.

Can't wait to see how she turns out with this shed...whether she'll go darker or lighter this time. Actually can't wait till she's a bit bigger so I can try feeding some day old quail to help increase the variety in her diet.
