i ordered a bizz corn from cornsnake.net and its supposed to arrive today, and im freakin out

its my first snake from a breeder(instead of petstores and freebies). my mom works at home so i knew if it arrived she would put it in the cage, so when i got home from school i tore the cage apart to see if the snake was in it. then i ran downstairs to ask my mom if it was here yet even though i knew the answer.

so know im sitting here on the computer(which is next to a window) and every time i see movement my heart starts racing and i get disapointed when i dont see a fed ex truck.

i have to go to the bathroom(#2) but im afraid i i do he will show up and noboby will answer.

and holy &^&# an old car with a loud engine drove by followed by a white van and i nearly had a heart attack!!!

should i close my blinds and wait for a knock at the door?
if i do that i will break my leg the first time i hear the doorbell and if its one of my sisters friends i will punch her in the face for playing with the doorbell and if i leave the blinds open i will get whiplash and kill squirels for being alive cars for making noise and trees for blowing in the wind.

and that same loud old car drove by again in the same direction and i live on a dead end road! then it came back following an antique,loud, WHITE car!

fed ex should change thier color from white to bright blue in the fall and blaze orange for the rest of the seasons so i dont freek out when ever i see movement... as much

I just received my snake from SMR today so it should be coming soon. Patience.

cool, what kind, where are you from?
im from vermont so it will take longer for me to get mine.

what condition is it in? is it healthy and in good condition?
do you think smr is a good breeder?

I got a Butter from Smr. He is my 10th snake. Im here in Illinois and yes he arrived fine and healthy. Did you get yours yet?

You've got me excited about it and I'm not even getting the snake! I had 1.1 Okeetee's sent to me a few weeks ago and I was freaking out when they weren't there at 4:30 p.m., by 6:00 p.m., I had called UPS about three times. They finally arrived at 6:30 p.m. and by that time I was exhausted from running to the window every time I thought I heard a car pulling up in my driveway. Let us know when the "package" arrives!

i have you beat i had my mom call the breeder at 3:30
im only 16 and im not a poeple person so when i have to call some where like hat i have my mom do it, shes an awsome mom and a good talker who always knows what to say and when without ever screwing up and asking or saying the wrong thing.
if i called to order a snake it would take me 20 minutes to blurt out female and another 5 for blizzard and forget about credit card numbers.

i tracked the shipment and it was suppused to arrive at noon, and its 6:30 the snake was last logged in memphis tennesse.

weve called the breeder all day, weve called fed ex but there no help and there the ones who have the snake, im sorry but fed ex sucks a big ?#@! and i dont think im going to ever use them again, id rather drive an hour to the nearest airport. this is what i get for living in vermont.

the snake is supposedly has been in my town for a few hours but wouldnt you think that they would deliver live animals first?

i just tracked it again and the snake is still in transit...in memphis.

that makes me mad because ive been thinking it was on its way and would show up any minute since 2 and i just found out it wasnt eve4n on the road and will get here tomorrow, and it took almost four hours just to find out it was still in memphis.

What a pain!!! It was supposed to be overnight, right? That's always my big fear that something is going to get held up. Hopefully, he will be fine for another day on the road, but I would be getting ahold of that breeder and FedEx to find out what happened. Good luck and keep us posted!

Sucks to wait, huh? I just purchased my first Cornsnake about a week ago -- an adult male Blizzard. The breeder is only about 30 minutes away, so I'm going to pick it up in person...once this walking pneumonia passes. Ugh!

Anyway...I hate waiting, too.
