Hey Ben I'm getting a monster cage

Physignathus Sep 14, 2005 07:31 PM

I'm about to make THE biggest purchase in my life and Nefi, lol. I'm getting a 84"Lx30"W24"H knockdown with light strip, hole on top for heat lamp, stand, hide box, door locks. As of right now the price is at $1,190. Shipping he said starts at $250. He said he could be more accurate on the shipping closer to completion. I sure hope Nefi will like it :P I inquired other places but monster-cages was the only ones who got back with me. I got approved for a loan So I'm setting up my animals, WOOHOO!! Whenever it arrives(probably not til Nov.) and get it set up I'll post some pics. Those ppl sent me pics of those yellow males. They looked real good but not what I am looking for. I did refer them to reptilezoogirl2 who was looking for a male for her 2 females.

lol Congrats!!!!! They are awesome cages, and I can guarentee you will like it just as much as your snake. It's like x-mas time when you get that in. Deffidently can't wait to see some pics of it, I haven't really seen any with the options they offer. I'm saving up for more cages also actually. I couldn't bring myself to sell my super tiger, he is just too good of a snake. So he will be getting a new 6' cage sometime soon for him, and I'm saving up for a new cage for the Anery, which he can be in that 4' cage until about 6-8', and then I can sell that to help pay for another 6-8' cage depending on his growth rate. Good luck with the cage though, they are deffidently worth what you pay for them!

At the time I made this post I was getting a monster. But after shopping around I found one just as good at a much cheaper price. The only thing the other doesn't offer is a stand. I apologize for getting everyone excited. I was excited too but not excited about the price. I will still show pics of the cage I'm trying to get now(playing phone tag to give them my CC#). I'll go now and slither under a huge rock and hide from the throwing stones, lol.

lol, I hate you. Just kidding! Who are you buying the other cage from? What size and everything? How much!? lol, I'm just curious because I'm looking into getting another 8' Cage, but Monster-cages is the only one I can find that sells them cheaper than anyone else, because not a lot of other people sell them. But if I'm absolutly positive my Anery is a male, I might just get him a 6' cage, I don't know..

I'm getting it from Allpet Plastics. I'll email you the link that way I'm not advertising it, lol. I'm getting their T50 model, it is 84"Lx30"Wx18"H with sliding glass doors, 8.5" circle screen(for heat lamp),door lock, white flourescent fixture, belly heat(cables),thermostat, and 20"x12"x12" hidebox(their gonna try and stretch it to a 24"x12"x12"for $639 and only costs $128 to ship. Grand total $767. Only thing I'm not getting is a stand. They don't carry any. And I'm only losing 6" on the height of the cage. It's made of CDPVC 1/2" thick(the CD= control density). When you go to the website look in the upper left corner where it says "Terrestrial Cages" click it and it will show you their cage models. :
