I've got a Carpet python of some sort. It's either an Irian Jaya or it's a Coastal Carpet (then again it could be a cross). The only way I know of to tell what it is for sure is to get a scale count on him. Does anyone know the scale counts on Irian Jaya's and Coastal carpets? This way I could at least rule one or both out? I'm trying to sell him but it's kind of hard when you don't know exactly what you have. Thanks for any help.

A picture doesn't really help. I've posted pictures before and people thought it was a Coastal Carpet. The woman I got it from (works at a well known reptile distributor says it's an Irian Jaya) so the only way to tell is scale counts. I'm just trying to find out what they should be so I can figure out what I have.

hey i have 2 jcps and a burm and i am helping my science teacher get a snake because she likes snakes and it is her first year teaching i got some stuff for things that the snake will need. but wondering if anyone got a discount for a site that i can use to help her out. she is a cool science teacher
