Ken -
I had a hard time fining any - you can get it at pet stores but they charge an arm and a leg - hard to find a feed store around here carrying any - I've just started ordering from Superior aand they carry the chipped aspen that I prefer over the shredded stuff - it's in canoga park - you may be able to pick it up not sure - but shipping is free if you buy two bags (over $50).

Man, that sucks. I get the same size bag from the feed store for about $10. I wonder how much it would cost to ship one of these bags?

They have all kinds of aspen. I like the shredded the best.

You beat me to it... Midway City Feed always has a ton of Aspen with I believe 2 different choices. Shredded or Shavings. The bags of shredded from Harlan Teklad goes for $12. I've also picked up what I thought was shredded from Harlan Teklad at LLL Reptile for $22 a bag. The stuff from LLL is much nicer. At Midway I prefer the shavings. They also carry Harlan sani-chips for under $10 a bag.

I literaly just picked up my order from Harland 10 bags of Sani Chips $6.85 each and 6 bags of Aspen shredded for $6.90 each. That is factory direct pricing if you are able to pick it up local. Very easy to open an account and pick up the next day, only down side is that they have a $100 min order so if you've got under 200 snakes it would take a long time to use it all and you have to have somewhere to store it all.

What size bag of Aspen shredded did you get for $6.90?
Was it the 4.38 cu ft?

Where are they located? Somewhere in OC?

Thanks,
Ken
