Did my gecko just lay an egg?????

ok i just got a gecko like a couple of weeks ago
i attached a pic. im not sure if this is a poop or an egg but it looks kinda slimy like a pip covered in jelly or something... wow i now just saw a huge cricket that i had left in around in inch big (thought i had taken them all out) and he went over and did something to it... did the cricket just lay an egg or something????

It is either it's poo or urine depending on the color. Your baby is far too small to lay an egg. I sure hope you don't put any more 1" crickets in with your baby either, that is WAY too big for it. If that is what you have been trying to feed it, that's why it's not eating

I'm thinking that the white stuff may be your baby leo's urate since it comes out white... don't know about the slimy part though. And I agree that she looks a little too young to be laying eggs right now

As for the crickets, make sure they're about 1/2 - 3/4 of the size of your leo's head so they'll be easier to eat & digest. Gotta get the small crickets
