HI I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE HAD ANY EXPERIANCE WITH THIS TYPE OF LIZARD? WHATS THE DEAL WITH THE PROTIEN ISSUE? ALSO ARE THEY MORE LIKE RHINOS OR GREEN IGS WHEN IT COMES TO BEING ABOREAL OR TERRESTRIAL? ANY OTHER INFO WOULD BE GREAT, THANX

Robert, I have a SIMILIS and I just love him. He is my first Lizard and I knew nothing. I got the green iguana books and read them and read them and read them. Read every thing on the web about SIMILIS. Mine is 18 to 20 inches long, I got him in Feb, He is pretty tame but I guess this isn't the norm. I have read and been told that SIMILIS can be pretty wild. As far as protein goes there are alot of ways to give it crickets, red worms, tofu, ect..... look ar bearded dragon diet but only feed the SIMILIS protein a couple times a week. I think that is all and I hope if I got anything wrong someone will correct me. thanks
