Cooling - general opionion on safe temps?

BOASELECTER Sep 15, 2005 05:24 PM

I have heard differant opinions on wheather or not I should cool my boas before breeding - I was planning to but not sure what is the safest temp to ensure no danger to them, also I was under the impression the cooling initiates the female to want to breed and helps ensure the male is ferttile - is this correct??

What are peoples general opinions? Who cools theirs and who lets it happen naturally?

Cheers

Sam

you will get many different opinions on this subject. I have not cooled my boas at all for breeding and have had successful litters. I am on the Jeff Ronne method of breeding. I do not think that ther is one correct way to produce boas. I think that different people use different methods and produce great litters. You just have to find what works for you.
