I wondering about something since i noticed alot of people posting about upcoming shows etc...

Last year i posted a single post about an upcoming local show in CA. I only mentioned that I would be attending, and for people to drop by and say hi? i didnt even mention that i would be selling anything (even though i was vendoring). It wasn't an advertisement at all, but more of an open welcome for an opportunity to meet other leo forum members.

anyways, i got a warning message from kingsnake saying i was advertising and breaking the rules, and that i am not allowed to advertise upcoming shows? ...just wondering if anyone else has had that same experience???? thanks

It says at the top of the page that you allowed to advertise for events "advertising for anything other than events is prohibited".....thats weired i remember that post. Im interested i anyone else has recieved any emials....

After one obnoxiously blatant advertisement about shows that was crossposted in just about every forum here... well it's allowable now. "Advertising anything, except for events, is prohibited here"

I can fully understand why you'd be upset though.

Weird, I've posted here just about every time we have done a show (they are few and far between)to let people on the Leo forum know about it and I have never gotten a single email. I just assumed it was ok per forum rules. I can understand your confusion!
