Pinaleno Mountains. That is where Mt. Graham is.

I actually found that out just recently and promptly forgot it. Thanks. I got used to using the wrong name. The guy who I went there with called it the Grahms and I never bothered to make sure he was right. It is important though, seeing as I am posting on a publc forum. SO again thanks

I found one a few weeks ago that was climbing up a tree. About 5' or so off the ground.

LOL No that tree is behind the locksmith shop I work at. I live in Chicago and unfortunatly its hard to find good spots for backdrops. When I did find him though it was next to a bolder about 100 ft down the mountain from the rock slide I was heading for. I almost stepped on him because I was trying to pick the best path to get to the good spot and I didn't think that a lone bolder was very special. I looked back down at the ground and thought "Thats strange there is a snake next to this bolder" It took me a minute to register that it was what I was looking for. In the mean time I kept walking and for some reason I had to actually stop myself from walking by. It could have very likely have been that we where out until 4:30 the night before and then got up at 7:00 to go hike this mountain or that it was just so strange to see a amazing snake sitting out in the open during the day. Either way i am hooked on Arizona and i hope i can afford to go back again next year.

A lot of places haven't been investigated, yet. I'd like to hit Mt. Graham one of these days. I'll be going back to G.V. and the Santa Ritas in December. I hope to get up high and check the remains of the fire. Later...
