I'm an evacuee from New Orleans now living in Atlanta (we're going to stay) and I'm trying to find out if the Georgia Herp Society is still around and if so, is there a contact I can have.

We evacuated with not only our dogs and cat, but with 6 snakes, 3 geckos, a uromastyx, a blue tongued skink, and a red-foot tortoise.

I definitely want to get hooked into the herping community here in the Atlanta area.

Box 464778, Lawrencville, Ga. 30246. I've sent letters w/ no answer. A friend of mine and myself are working on trying to get a Herp Club started up but I'm sure it won't be till after the first of the year. Check out Snakehook.net. It is bassed out of Atlanta.
