Georgia Herp Society?

ltllzrd Sep 16, 2005 01:36 PM

I'm an evacuee from New Orleans now living in Atlanta (we're going to stay) and I'm trying to find out if the Georgia Herp Society is still around and if so, is there a contact I can have.

We evacuated with not only our dogs and cat, but with 6 snakes, 3 geckos, a uromastyx, a blue tongued skink, and a red-foot tortoise.

I definitely want to get hooked into the herping community here in the Atlanta area.

Thanks!

Hello. My name is Ronnie. I live in Athens, Ga. Sorry about the disaster in your life. Happy to hear that you are safe now. Thier is a Georgia Herpetological Society, P.O. Box 464778, Lawrencville, Ga. 30246. I've sent letters w/ no answer. A friend of mine and myself are working on trying to get a Herp Club started up but I'm sure it won't be till after the first of the year. Check out Snakehook.net. It is bassed out of Atlanta. If thier is anything else I can help you out with please don't hesitate to e-mail me direct, -rcdean@bellsouth.net- Hope to speak to you again and hope life will get brighter for you.......Ronnie
