Back to Normal...

wetceal Sep 16, 2005 09:31 PM

It really is nice to have things starting to get back to normal around here. I was able to take a break from cleaning today to snap a few pictures of some boas.

This is a gorgeous adult male Leopard Boa that we picked up from Justin Higgs. Thanks Justin - you were absolutely right about this guy being an awesome animal! Can't wait to pair him up with some girls this season...

Here are some new photos of a little Hypo Hogg girl we produced this year. Her colors are so soft

And lastly, a few new pictures of our male Sharp Sunglow - He's has an almost glowing yellow background color right now...definitely coming along very nicely!

As always - thanks for looking!

Thanks,
Celia

What are your plans for the Leopard male? I would like to know, if it isn't a secret, lol!
Pair him up with a Hypo or two and really see what can be done. How old is he? In talking with Pete and Hans, they said to raise them slower than most BCI. I guess they don't naturally get much food in the Sonoran Desert.

Take care,
Chris

And Chris - I'm not exactly positive what we're going to pair that guy up with. I believe he is three years old. He is a good 4 to 4 1/2 feet long so he's definitely big enough to go this season. I don't think I have any Hypo females I can spare for him (I've already got most of those girls lined up with my male Jungle and male Motley). I might put him with one of our female Albinos and then I'm not sure what else. I have a couple of female Leopards but they are both too small. I have a few normal Nicaraguans but I don't know if they'll be big enough either. Regardless...we'll find him some girlfriends!

Thanks,
Celia

I am sure you'll get a good project going with that guy!
I can't wait till my Leopard gets older, and bigger. I have big plans for him with a very PINK Gee line Hypo, fingers crossed for two more years!
