They are in deep shed and I will get a better pic later but this is pretty cool. Some are big for babies.

The babies still have not shed but when they do I will offer them siren scented defrosted pinks. I had a small one that ate tadpoles but perhaps the particular specimen you have is holding out for sirens? I would recommend getting a siren and freezing it for scenting and just rub it on a defrosted washed pink and leave it in the cage on a rock or something he cannot ingest at dusk and see if it eats it. I have never had one refuse a siren scented rodent. Good Luck.

I don't know a specific spot because I obtained my specimen from a pet store, but also know they live in small creeks. Its best to attempt to net them at night with a flash light. But its even better to get one and freeze it for scenting as catching them as a food source is gonna get old after the first few hundred mosquito bites.

It was at the Barrier Reef in Boca but I bought the two they had a couple months ago. They said they might be able to order more? It may be a seasonal thing or these fellows ended up in the fish breeders ponds and he sold them? I don't know but its worth a try to call them.

They have 1 "Greater Siren" available for $20 plus shipping no doubt. They claim that their website is updated "almost daily".

You will probably need to scroll down some.....
