Where can I purchase FLAGYL ???

(METRONIDAZOL)I've been trying to get some to flush out my wild caught however I need a prescription.I know some pet stores carry it.I just don't know witch one.Your help would be greatly appreciated. Ash Lopez

You can go to any pet store and look in the tropical fish medication section. Drug name is metronidazole.

I was talking with classmates during my reptile vet med class and an unnamed petstore was giving their rats metronidazole. They all became neurotic and died from overdose. I hope you get some good info from your friendly neighborhood petstore.

You're not doing your snake a favour by by-passing the only legal method of obtaining this perscription drug. If your vet has confidence in you he/she may give you enough to empirically treat your collection and/or newcomers in the future, but without this relationship you're SOL. I havn't been able to find Flagyl on the beanfarm website (I've heard they have it as well), but the laws are there and it is illegal to sell without a prescription.

Then go to health care,an then its on the 3 rd page in their set of matches under health care!But like Ian added it can be dangerous so one needs to make sure dosage is correct before use!Hope this helps!Eric[Hypoboa]
