I just got home and checked my turtle eggs and unexpectedly found one of the babies coming out of the ground. I put little straws above each spot I have eggs buried, and it was knocked down. It's actually an egg I found in the pen unburied. I didn't want to throw it away, so just incubated it for the heck of it, expecting it not to hatch. So if you find eggs on the surface, incubate them anyway because it may be fertile.

So that's 34 left, with more eggs likely to be laid.
