Where do the all the Pac Men come from?

dumergirl Sep 17, 2005 07:09 PM

Virtually every wholesaler and pet store seems to have Pac Man frogs, I was wondering where they come from? Are they bred in the USA or bred overseas and imported? Are there people who make a living just breeding pac man frogs? I think it would be very interesting to see a pac man breeding operation.

they can be bred in captivity, and judging from the numbers of them, as you also have noticed, i dont see how they could not be being bred commercially in the U.S.. the people that breed probably breed other things as well,so i dont know if anyone actually lives off breeding pacmans.

I did see a frog breeder at the Daytona show. He had a few different species, including pac man(all kinds), tomato, pixie frogs, and some others.

I imagine the ones gathered in the wild are tadpoles then morph here.
