Best breeders?

nekomi Sep 17, 2005 09:08 PM

Hi everyone,

I've been interested in chondros for a long time now, and am thinking about making one my next snake (I currently keep a leucy rat and a Brazilian rainbow). But I'm having a hard time finding a good breeder.

I know about Greg Maxwell, Trooper Walsh, etc., but it seems that they only work with designer animals. I'm simply looking for an Aru or Sorong female.

So, can anyone recommend a breeder that:

-Regularly breeds Aru and Sorong type animals
-Preferably has locality documentation, but not mandatory
-Sells hatchlings and also yearlings (I'd rather begin with a well-started yearling, with a proven disposition)

Thanks, everyone, in helping me track down the elusive chondro!

Just picked up a Aru hatchling from them, and they're awesome. Have locality info, feeding chart, ect. I've also bought a biak locale, 2 normal ball pythons, and a pair of het-albino balls from them. great to do buisness with.

I'll second what Greg said! You will not be disappointed with Rico and his chondros. I think he offers one of the best values you will find on a super nice cbb chondro, with after the sale service and support, photo bloodline pedigree, and more. I thought he had some Arus as well, but wasn't sure. Good luck finding your first tree worm!
