hi i noticed you have a black racer snake i am going to get one soon can you tell me what to expcet whaen i get my black racer.

You can expect a very interesting, intelligent snake to watch. Mine is quite active, not running against the glass trying to escape active, but more of just moving from spot to spot, around the branches, in his water, in his cave. Just make sure you have a big enough cage. Mines in a 75 gallon and he's about 4 feet. He's also a good eater and usually takes two frozen/thawed mice once a week. The pic I have posted is misleading though. The first 4 or 5 days I had him he was fine with being picked up. Now he runs, rattles, and strikes if you go to touch him or if you move past his cage real fast. Other than that he is a great snake. I prefer to watch reptiles over carrying them around any way. I think they usually like it that way to.
