Baby Veilds and the Great Screen Question Take II

Solomon Jul 19, 2003 01:21 AM

Hey, thanks for the replies, but a few things are still foggy. I know I don't want the screen too big, or the crix will get out, but I also don't want to use aluminum screen because of the claw pulling thing. I personally don't like fiberglass screen because it can't take the heat and I know I'll need a heat lamp on top. A bit of my background..... I have 50 veiled eggs in the incubator right now, expecting them sometime in december, a long time from now, but I do want to be very prepared, when and if they hatch. Anyways...... Aluminum or not? I believe that's my question.....

Thanks everyone.....

not aluminum. you could just buy a 65 gallon reptarium online somewhere if you wanted also.

i say aluminum...i have had zero problems with claws coming off, i personally think they work greatr, very durable. The only thing that has happened to me was the top of his casque has rubbed sore, but i am treating that with topical Novalson and it is healing very nicely. JMO
