Getting First Ball, Question about Reading material?

Tari2383 Sep 18, 2005 09:42 AM

I am considering getting my first snake and I have decided on a ball python. I went down to my library to get some books but the only things I could find where
Pythons: by Patricia Bartlett & Ernie Wagner
The Ball Python Manual: The Herpetocultural Library
Does anyone have any recommendations for anything else. I want to be prepared before I buy my snake.

The Ball Python Manual is pretty good, heard it recommended many times here. I also own it and find it very imformative. Not alot of info about genetics but deffinitely a fair bit about care and common ball python ailments and how to deal with non-eaters or fasting ball pythons.
