I once saw a "dwarf African rock python" at a reptile show. Is this even a valid morph or subspecies? Does anyone know of any good books or websites with information on this python?
Thank you.

Matt,
That is just another name for the southern subspecies of the African rock python, Python sebae natalensis. They have a slightly smaller adult size than the northern form, but still average 10 to 12 feet as adults.

Thank you Kelly. Does anyone know of knowledgeable and reliable resources that may enlighten me more about dwarf african resources?
You can read the article on the European Reptilia (issue number 40): "Barone, S.: Python natalensis, The Natal Python"
and You'll find how Python natalensis is not so dwarf...
I had forgotten initially, but I believe the northern and southern African rock pythons have recently been split and given individual species status. Python sebae and Python natalensis.
