elra Sep 18, 2005 03:35 PM

i live in san francisco, ca so the humidity here is high anyway. i finally got a hygrometer and it read 80% with 2/3 of the top covered with wrap, then i took it off and it's still high, at 70%. i hear too high humidty causes RI, is there anything i can do to get it lower?

I keep fairly high humidity most of the time and the only time I had RI's was when the humidity was low. I currently have one girl that has an RI and her cage had low humidity, 30% unless in shed, most of my others have 70% - 80% no problems. I moved her cages and bumped temp and humidity.
