OK, lets see here. where to start.
i have bred leopard geckos for 2 years now and i heard beardies are more sociable and want to be around you more than leos. is this true?

if i got 2 baby beardies, could they be housed in a 29 gal.?? for how long??

i need a link to a good care sheet that you guys would recommend. because i am lost in the contradicting answering i'm getting.

is a 4x2x3 cage big enough for 0.2 adult beardies???

are beardies tame as babies or do they bite?? i won't be holding them at first, but i am wondering.

what do you guys recommend for food for babies (size and type)???

thanx for all your help and sorry for all the questions!

Hey there, I could type out all your answers but I have spent hours writing up my pages at BeardieKingdom.com and I know the answers to all your questions are in there. Just take a look through the care pages, and if you still have questions after let me know. But, I think it convers everything and more you would like to know.

a good website is listed at the bottom - veronicags page...it has good food lists etc.

personally, if i was buying 2 babies, i would make SURE they are both females, as sometimes its a geuss and it could end up to be a male and a female, or 2 males, and that could be bad. a 29 gal would be good for about 3 months, and a 4 x 2 x 2 would be fine. I have all my dragons in a 5 x 2 x 2 and they love em, lots of space. If i were you, go buy the bearded dragon manual by Philipe J. i think thats what his name is. Also, be prepared to build 2 seperate cages later in their life, as sometimes the females will not get along, or you could have 2 males, or a male and a afemale, and they will need seperate cages, but usually 2 females will get along in 1 cage.

as babies, no they dont bite, they bite about as much as they do in adults, and thats very rarely. ive personally been bitten once, but it was my fault as my hand was in the way of food lol. Anyway, let them settle in for a few days, ad then you can handle them. Babies are skittish though, and fast. Adults are a lot my lacksidaisicle. (laid back). Well, i tihnk thats all....good luck!!

i have bred leopard geckos for 2 years now and i heard beardies are more sociable and want to be around you more than leos. is this true? it depends on the lizard, my leopard gecko thought I was food for the first month I had him, I have only been bitten my my beardies when there is food involved and that is very rare to happen, I wouldn't consider any reptile socialble because all of mine would rather stay in their cages than be held. The only thing thats semi-socialble is when they are hungry they will pace around the front of the cage to get your attention.

if i got 2 baby beardies, could they be housed in a 29 gal.?? for how long?? a few monthes or less

is a 4x2x3 cage big enough for 0.2 adult beardies??? yup, I have two in a 75 gallon acuarium. I would personally not build it 3 ft high though, 2 feet high would be just fine and wuold save you money in materials

are beardies tame as babies or do they bite?? i won't be holding them at first, but i am wondering. They usually do not bite but they tend to think they can fly and will jump out of your hands if they are scared(which is most of the time). Younger ones also have the tendency to back up off of what they are sitting on so be careful about that too. I suppose if you never held your BD it wouldn't be as nice but even the wild ones are approachable in Australia and they have never been held.

what do you guys recommend for food for babies (size and type)??? 1/8 or 1/4 crickets depending on the size of the babies. food should be the size of the area between their eyes. give them collards and pellets(if you are gonna feed these) everyday even though they wont eat it.
