I have 1.2 northerns from Russell Keys (1.1 by way of Gregg). They're awesome! cbb'03 and around 5-6' eating med rats! wow! Unfortunately, a career change and the probability of moving may force me to sell some off my larger snakes (and the indigos and La pines are staying)! Figure I'll show em off while I still have em!

Looking great A.C., congrats on the new job, i'm assuming it's the same one we talked about at Hamburg the other week. Sorry to hear you have to part with some pits, that sucks. Are you going to end up parting with a log of hognose and the triaspis too or can you keep them around? The pines are huge and the LA pines are great looking. I'll shoot you an e-mail here soon, are you heading to anymore Hamburg shows this year? Hey Dan, just a heads up i hope to have a suboc baby for you this fall/winter. Eggs cooking now!

Have a good one and congrats again,

Gregg F.

Gregg,

Looks like I should be able to keep most of snakes as many are small (hogs) and take up just a bin in my rack. It seems that the big snakes are what have to go. I'm looking into buying the 66" freedom breeder for all of my big snakes, and the northerns just won't fit.

Yes, I wil be there 10/15 and yes, this is the same job!

Would she breed this season? I have a pair near that size that are 03 and I hope to put them together in the spring.

Hey A.C.!
Those snakes look great! I adore all my pines! Congrats on your new job, I know it'll be hard to part with some of your collection! I too have to consider downsizing my bunch, not sure how that's going to happen, I love em all...LOL! I can't get over how fast my yearling grew up, he's past the 44 inch long mark and easily downs young adult mice and looks for more! I wouldn't believe it if someone else told me their yearling was already this big! And this is on a once a week feeding schedule! And usually always one food item! Anyhow, take care, thanks for sharing pics! Always good to see more pics of the kids and how they are doing.

RK,

You produce some of the best pines right now, so congrats! With all of those smokers you produce, its amazing that you don't have more still in your possession. I think its time to make one of the bedrooms the "RK Northern Pine Naturalistic Habitat." Maybe grow some prickly pear cacti, pitch pines, lady slipper orchid...u know...make it official! I'm sure the fam wouldn't mind helping you lug 1000 lbs of sand up the stairs!
