Back from the vet

sunbirdx Sep 19, 2005 12:03 AM

Hey all,
Took Bender to the vet due to his hunger strike, found out he had a bloom of flagellated protazoan that had probably been with him since birth but undetected previously. Vet said that sometimes the bloom causes lack of appetite, or lack of appetite causes the bloom...it is hard to say. This was a new reptile vet (from the last one), so maybe that is why I got a good diagnosis?...anyways, hopefully he is on the road to recovery, but man am I pissed this didnt turn up earlier!
