My first Blood

elgrano Sep 19, 2005 07:12 AM

Hi guys...I finally got my first Blood Python (female) from the reptile and alternative pet show in West Palm Beach, FL this saturday. She is nice! only two months old...The only thing that is worring me is that I offer her a hopper mice on sunday and she didn't took it...I guess she has to get familiar with her new setup is a little stress because of the show and the trip back home...I will try another mice next weekend. Wish me luck!

Try an adult mouse... if I remember correctly my female was taking two young adult mice at that age...

Hey let you blood settle in for her new enviornment for about 10 days or so before you try to feed her. They can be a little nervous in a new home and feeding just ups that.
