Type of Tegu.

I am getting a Tegu, I am picking him/her up friday. I did another visit with him today, and I was reading some more of the threads.(My goal is to read all of them that I can before friday). I have a question, someone mentioned a Colombian Gold-Phased Black Tegu. I was wondering if someone has a pic of one. The one we are getting has alot of goldish white from the nose to his shoulders. I was told it is a columbian black and white, but I am unsure totally as he was shipped to the pet store as an argentine originally. I would like to pinpoint what breed he is. Can anyone help?? Thanks.

These are commonly sold as Gold tegus, known as Yellow and Black tegus as well I believe.

I just tend to seperate the two, Colombian Tegus and the Argentines..
You can just be assured that it's going to be feisty, grow to a maximum size of maybe 3 1/2'.. and tend to be very fleighty.

They're pretty lizards though, I'd suppose.
