Just thought I would show you my picture of a Timber Rattler. As I am sure you can tell, this one wasn't found outside...so technically this one doesnt count 
. However, it was nice to be able to see it and work with it a little. Overall he was pretty cool!

That sure is an ugly timber!! If I saw that one in the field though, it would be the prettiest thing I have ever laid eyes on. I am glad your getting some experience though, too bad things didn't work out down in the forest.
