Phil,
Just curious about the reference to the largest Prairie king on record. I happen to be reading Tennant 1984 and he cites Roger Conant (1975) and record size of 58 1/8", with the largest from Texas measuring 56".

It matters not to me, I'm just curious what became of the Conant reference of 58 1/8"?

Conant 1991 says 56". So who knows what happened there....

Hey Joe, from what I understand that was erroneous and corrected in a later edition. Phil
