i was just holding my ball python and he drooled!!! like he had a huge lunger hanging from his mouth. what is this? hes never done it before, i thought he may throw up or sumthing but he didnt. is it common for snakes to drool?

If it was clear and runny like water - than it could be that he just had a bit to drink and it came back up - if it was not water or if he is bubbling at the mouth - it's probably a respitory infection and he'll need to see a vet.

It could also be an infection in the mouth such as mouth rot. that happens too. Open her up and take a look. A RI is most likely tho.
