04 Bloody salmon male...

kirby Sep 20, 2005 01:56 PM

This is one of the bloody salmons I produced in 04. He has really good retained color in this picture which was taken at about 10 months of age. I am looking forward to seeing what can be done with these in future morph combinations. I think this combined with the hogg island x blood hets that I produced this year will make some amazingly colored boas.

with the Blood mutation. Not only produceing Bloody Salmons (with Rich's Salmon hets, I need to give him credit too), but the combination with the Hog Isle was nice as well. Personally I am waiting until someone uses either a Nicaraguan Hypo or a pure Panamanian hypo. Both of these would add a new touch, the Nic should keep very deep red, but remove melanin nicely, and the Panama would keep the Salmon look, but a smaller size.

Do you have any plans for C.A. Motley X Blood or Leopard X Blood. I want to pick up a Blood female next year to pair with my Leopard in the future.

You did a great job catching the deep red color in that Bloody Salmon, the two I saw, and their pictures were much more orange.

Thanks,
Chris
