This is the legendary " Killer Essiquibo " the most feared Boa to grace Pete Bandre's store. We got her at the first of the year and in proper form, she tried to kill everything in sight and was definately the most aggressive Boa, I too had ever delt with. After a couple of months of T.L.C. and fluffy bunnies, she calmed down dramatically and is pretty easy to work with, but NEVER underestimated. At the first of June, I wanted to see how she would react to having a male put in with her and had no intention of breeding her. I put one of my largest 8ft males with her and the funny thing is; " he has not hit a lick of breeding in 4yrs. " Ten minutes after introduction, he started breeding her like crazy and has not stopped! I figured, it may be best to let nature take it's course and last month. even introduced another beautiful high yellow male in with them. After nearly four months of almost constant breeding, she still has shown no signs of swelling and I decided actually today to seperate them and feed them " especially her. " Maybe, this will induce her to ovulate, if not I can always put them back in, time will tell all. She does not have the best pattern by alot of peoples standards, but I love her dearly and for her 11ft size her color is very rosy, even though it did not show up in the photo. Hope she will go, the babies, like seemingly most babies that come from big giant wild females, should be geneticly very strong and long lived. If this animal and the 13ft Boa was both to go this year, my year should be good if nothing else does........Johnson Herp
